Operation Work Conference held

---Vice president Liu deploys work for 2006

On February 10, 2006, the Operation Department held a OperationWork Conference of BIIP and to learn the plans for such works as sale of standard workshop in Beijing park in scale, reply to phase II land, exploitation of park in other regions, international cooperation, HR building. Wang Tianyi, president of the group attended the conference and executing vice president Liu Qun presided over the conference.

Tian Geng, deputy manager of BIIP reported the overall work plan of BIIP for 2006 to the leaders. He said that firstly, BIIP will accomplish the building and sale of 15 000 sq. m workshop of Phase I and then initiate the building of 60 000-100 000 sq. m workshop. The company will try to achieve the designated sales objective through the intensifying of channel building and the strengthening the sales efforts. At the same time, it will wrap up all municipal works in Phase I and initiate those works in Phase II.

Secondly, BIIP will continue to expand channels for international cooperation, strengthen the cooperation with Fortune 500 enterprises, embassies and consulates in China and international chambers of commerce and associations and promote the building of the platform for investment and financing services to facilitate the inviting of business and offer a platform for exchange and cooperation for investors and financing companies.

Thirdly, BIIP will continue to expand parks other than Beijing, strengthen the communication and exchange with local government and initiate the building and business invitation in real earnest. The specific objectives are also put forward.

Fourthly, BIIP will strengthen team building. It will recruit talents which can create history according to the development objective and the principle of “extensive training and strict selection”.

Sun Mang, sales director of BIIP, also gave lectures on measures for sales in scale.

Hui Yixiang, vice GM of BIIP, reported the work plan and management model of Hainan company.

Zhang Yan, vice GM of BIIP, introduced the steps and business invitation plan for the expansion of parks in places other than Beijing.

Leaders of the International Department and Human Resources Department introduced the contents and timetable of international cooperation and team building.

President Wang expressed his satisfaction to the plans for 2006. He instructed BIIP to center on the work of Beijing park and build workshops of 100 000-400 000 sq m within one year; accelerate the process of land approval to create conditions for Phase II and pre-save more land for expansion; do well in the planning of land for development. President Wang asked Beijing park to construct a landmark building.

When mentioning the work of parks in regions other than Beijing, Wang emphasized the concept of “Two 500” and “Two 50” and put forward specific requirements on the scale and space of development and profit. He asked to permeat such concept as “high-tech, industry and rehabiliatation” to park planning and construction, create a kind of fresh new economic developmentmode and lead the tide of times. Finally, Wang stressed that the building of professional manager team is a pressing issue and BIIP must employ high-level management talents who can prosper the company.

Such leaders as vice president Jia Jing and chairman of the Board of Supervisors Chen Chusan of the group, as well as staff of the Operation Department, Financial Department and General Office attended the conference.

On February 13, BIIP held a plenary meeting. Vice president Liu Qun communicated the directives of group leaders at Operation Work Conference and President's Work Office and deployed the work of all departments. He required all departments to well organize the morning conference, specifc the work responsiblity and finish all work in the correspondent stipulated term. Liu also put forward specific requirements on office discipline, raising of work efficiency and outcome. He instructed the Operation Department, Human Resources Department and the General Office to improve the work methods, strengthen the supervision efforts, upgrade the overall work of the company to a higher level, realize the transformation from model to implementation and from concept to digitalization and achieve the objectives set by the company.
